   Community Services Department Director’s Report

It continues to be an honor for me to help guide the Community Services Department through some of the most exciting years of its history.  The task is both challenging and enormously gratifying.  Just like Teddy Roosevelt said, “Far and away the best prize that life offers is the chance to work hard at work worth doing.”

Our goals are clearly defined and we are well positioned for expanding our capacity at a time when individuals and families need more help to become self supporting.  It takes time to develop and deliver the required services to foster positive change.  We have demonstrated dedication, grace, skills and empathy as we experience increased requests for assistance.

Please review our accomplishments and decide how you can help.  We promise you will experience “work worth doing.”  Hurrah!

Sincerely,

Lola W. Johnson
